Widespread rain and snow has fallen over many parts of KZN which has been very welcome as almost all of the province is extremely dry to the drought. Whilst some good rains have been received it is too early to call the drought over as river and dam levels are still very low. Heavy snow fell in some areas which is always a challenge for farmers as well as causing a few road closures. We are looking  forward to good pasture recovery and growth rates going forward into spring which will take feeding pressure off farmers.
